G4S Cyprus honoured at CIPA Awards for outstanding contribution

G4S has announced that G4S Cyprus was honoured at the Cyprus Investment Promotion Authority (CIPA) Awards, for its outstanding contribution to the development of Cyprus as a leading business centre.

The CIPA Awards recognise companies and individuals who have helped to establish the country as a leading regional centre for international and professional services thanks to their investment into the national economy, establishing and developing operations and providing employment opportunities.

G4S Cyprus has invested significantly in the infrastructure of the local operation and has grown from four employees when it was founded 30 years ago to over 700 full time staff.

The Awards ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Palace on 10th September 2014 and was held under the auspices of President Nicos Anastasiades, was attended by 500 VIP guests from all sectors of the economy and Government, including Cabinet Ministers and Ambassadors. The award was collected by Regional Managing Director of G4S Cyprus, Mr Andrea Pateraki.
