Gas Natural del Oriente SA ESP is a Colombia-based company engaged in the gas utilities industry. The Company’s main activities comprise the distribution and marketing of natural gas in the city of Bucaramanga, as well as its neighboring municipalities of Piedecuesta, Lebrija, Grion, Floridablanca, Puerto Wilches, San Pablo, Cantagallo and Sabana de Torres, Colombia. The Company owns a number of subsidiaries, such as Gas Natural del Cesar SA ESP. It also holds minority stakes in such entities as Transoriente SA ESP, Compania Transportadora y Distribuidora Gas Venezuela and Transgas de Occidente SA, among others. Gas Natural SDG SA is majority shareholder of the Company.
