• The company's director for A Coruña met with the mayor of Carral to explain the improvements the company has made to the municipality's electricity supply.

Unión Fenosa Distribución Director for A Coruña Province José Antonio Fernández Amaro met with Carral Mayor Jose Luis Fernández Mouriño to explain the improvements made to the electricity distribution network in several parishes of the municipality.

Over the course of this year the energy company has invested more than €110,000 in initiatives and works to adapt and improve the low- and medium-voltage electricity installations of several parishes in the municipality of Carral. Specifically, it has put into service a medium-voltage line and a 100 KVA overhead transformation station, as well as an overhead low-voltage line; these actions will improve the quality of service for customers in Casanova, Cañas and Vista Real.

Additionally, it has improved service to residents of Brexa and Vilamouro with the installation of 560 metres of medium-voltage line, a 50 KVA overhead transformation station and 300 metres of low-voltage network.

The goal of these initiatives is to strengthen the electricity supply infrastructure and improve the electricity distribution network, especially in rural areas where the service quality must be improved, contributing to the economic development of these areas and improving their quality of life.

More than 700,000 supply points in A Coruña

Unión Fenosa Distribución has invested more than 259 million euros in the past five years in electrical infrastructure in the province of A Coruña, where it provides service to 97 towns and has more than 700,000 supply points.

The company manages more than 23,200 kilometres of electrical distribution network, of which almost 15,400 km are of high voltage, more than 6,900 km of medium voltage and almost 1,000 of low voltage. Furthermore, it has more than 120 high voltage transformers and more than 8,000 medium and low voltage transformers.
