Gas Natural SDG : Cegas and Provia sign agreement to promote natural gas in new buildings

• The goal is to foster energy efficiency, the reduction of environmentally harmful emissions and improved air quality in new buildings.

• The two entities will work together on organising technical conferences and providing project consultancy, among other things.

Gas Natural Cegas and the Association of Real Estate Developers of the Province of Alicante (Provia) signed a partnership agreement to foster energy efficiency and sustainability by promoting the installation of natural gas equipment in new buildings.

Under the agreement, Provia will promote studies and news related to natural gas among its associations, and will encourage the installation of this source of energy in real estate developments. Furthermore, they will promote technical studies on energy efficiency in buildings with a view to producing more environmentally-friendly heating systems, as well as the organisation of technical conferences.

In turn, Gas Natural Cegas will collaborate with association members on drafting specific gas projects for networks on industrial estates, works management, the re-design of reception installations and efficient natural gas applications, among other things, and will report to Provia members on any technological innovation, service improvement and changes made to suit the needs of property developers.

Gas Natural Cegas, a GAS NATURAL FENOSA gas distributor in the Region of Valencia, has almost 652,800 supply points and a distribution network in excess of 8,340 kilometres. The company supplies natural gas to 198 municipalities in the region.
