• Gas Natural Cegas is sponsoring this initiative by the Unió Musical de Torrent for the fifth year in a row.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Mayor of Torrent, Jesús Ros, the President of the Unió Musical de Torrent (UMT), Juan Benavent, the Managing Director of Gas Natural Cegas, Alfredo Ingelmo, and the Delegate in Southern Valencia for Gas Natural Cegas, Carlos Cañete, signed the sponsorship deal for the traditional concert to be played by the Unió Musical de Torrent symphony orchestra.

This year, the UMT has prepared a performance based on the soundtrack to the first six films in the Star Wars franchise.Entitled 'El Concierto de las Galaxias', the show will tell the history of the famous galactic saga via 12 pieces performed in two acts. To accompany the pieces, the audience will enjoy a visual spectacle produced by Yesterday & Today using next-generation lasers, moving heads and smoke effects. The whole show will be narrated by actor Vicente Quintana.

This year, the concert will take place on 13 February (coinciding with the start of the tour) at 19:00. Two additional performances will be offered on Sunday 14 February (at 11:00 and 12:30) under the production of Unió Musical de Torrent.

By signing this agreement, Gas Natural Cegas maintains its commitment to contributing towards the development of society beyond its business activity through extensive sponsorship deals that generate high value for society.
