Gas Natural SDG : Fenosa included in the Euronext Vigeo indexes again as one of the 120 most sustainable companies in the world

• The power company has been included in the Euronext Vigeo World 120 and Euronext Vigeo Europa 120 indexes since 2014; and in the Euronext Vigeo Eurozone 120 since it was created in 2013.

• The Euronext Vigeo indexes assess the three pillars of responsible investment: social, environmental and good governance.

For the third year in a row, GAS NATURAL FENOSA has been included in the Euronext Vigeo World 120 and Euronext Vigeo Europa 120 indexes again, which encompass the 120 most advanced companies in terms of sustainability in Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. Furthermore, the power company has been included in the Euronext Vigeo Eurozone 120 index again, in which it has been listed since the index was created in 2013.

The Euronext Vigeo indexes were created by NYSE Euronext (NYX), one of the largest securities exchange groups in the world, and Vigeo, a ratings agency specialising in socially responsible investment.

These indexes assess the three main pillars of responsible investment: social, environmental and good governance. The scores are based on 38 criteria which include respect for the environment, human rights, recognition of human capital in companies, relations with stakeholder groups (customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders, etc.), good governance, ethics and business integrity aimed at fighting corruption. Each company is evaluated according to more than 300 indicators.
