Gateway Real Estate AG: Holger Lüth to be the new CFO at Gateway Real Estate AG

Frankfurt, August 6, 2018. Holger Lüth (45) will join Gateway Real Estate as Chief Financial Officer, starting on September 1, 2018. Lüth succeeds Tobias Meibom, who will leave the board as well as the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Manfred Hillebrand. Both will support the transition at the stock exchange-listed company, which specializes in the investment, development and management of commercial and residential real estate, until the end of 2018.

Lüth is Gateway Real Estate's second highly qualified hire within a few weeks: Andreas Segal was appointed CEO in early July, also effective September 1. "We are delighted that we were able to convince Holger Lüth of Gateway Real Estate's tremendous potential," said Norbert Ketterer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. "Holger has an excellent international network, making him just the right person for our ambitious plans."

Lüth, a lawyer, most recently was Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations at the Austrian company Buwog AG. He not only built the department there, but also was responsible for the company's capital market and financing strategy. He provided key support in the sale of Buwog to DAX-listed Vonovia AG. Before joining Buwog, Lüth spent several years with an M&A and capital markets consulting company and an investment fund specialising in M&A and special-situations arbitrage. Previous employers also include HypoVereinsbank. Lüth and designated Gateway-CEO Andreas Segal know each other from their work at Buwog AG.
