GAZPROM Oleg Aksyutin, Member of the Management Committee, Head of Department of Gazprom, and Yury Urlichich, Deputy Head of the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation, today signed a Cooperation Agreement at the 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
The document is aimed at promoting scientific cooperation between the parties in such areas as energy efficiency and energy saving in the oil and gas sector, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, and analysis of long-term trends in global energy markets.
The 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum is being held as part of the Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum 'Russian Energy Week.'
The Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation is a non-commercial organization that provides on-demand information analytics and expert support to the Government of the Russian Federation, offering opinions on the key issues of the socio-economic development of the country in such areas as finance, industrial policy, energy, agriculture, transport, energy efficiency, strategic planning, project management, regional development, and innovations. The Center actively cooperates with Russian regions, as well as national and international organizations and R&D centers.
