For SIMI 2015, Gecina is joining forces to launch the 'New Uses 2015, Tertiary sector building' awards

Come and meet us on our stand, D48 Level I

Gecina is joining forces to launch the first 'New Uses 2015, Tertiary sector building' awards, created by the SIMI. On December 3, 2015, they will recognize innovative developments in terms of new services, products or equipment helping drive improvements in workplace wellness and flexibility.

With this partnership, Gecina has two goals: supporting innovation within a forum that brings together all the stakeholders concerned by these new challenges and supporting the Group's review process for 'tomorrow's building'.

'As the market leader for office property, we wanted to join forces with the SIMI to create these awards for new commercial practices', explains Philippe Depoux, Gecina's Chief Executive Officer. 'Indeed, it is crucial for us to track changes in users' expectations. This initiative is in line with our commitment to anticipating and constantly reinventing tomorrow's building, from its design to its uses and its integration with its direct environment. This event

will enable us to gain insights into changing trends and enhance our work on further strengthening our range of services for our customers'.

These awards will cover two categories:

  • 'User services': users and their experience of offices and new services will be the foundations for assessing the quality of service provided. Various criteria for assessing the quality of the workplace environment, such as employee wellness, will be looked at in relation to both individual and collective performance improvements.

  • 'Innovative products / equipment': achievements contributing towards workplace flexibility, productivity and wellness will be rewarded.

The awards will be given out on Thursday December 3, 2015.
