Gemadept : “K”line – Gemadept open a new Vehicle Processing Center first time launch in Vietnam

On 20 April 2017, at Lotte Legend Saigon Hotel, 'K'line - Gemadept Logistics Company Limited solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of 'K'line - Gemadept Logistics Vehicle Processing Center with the attendance of representatives from Gemadept Corporation, 'K'line Japan and car makers, dealers. 'K'line Japan and Gemadept Corporation have had a sustainable cooperation for over 20 years in Logistics sector. 'K'line - Gemadept Logistics Company Limited (KGL), established in 2014, is the joint venture inheriting the strengths and advantages of both companies with the experience for a hundred years from 'K'line Japan and the privilege of Vietnam's leading Port and Logistics operator from Gemadept. Following its success in container depot services in recent years, KGL continues to expand its operation in the field of Logistics and value added services for imported CBU cars. Along with Vietnam's road map of cutting import duty for cars from ASEAN to 0% in 2018, the number of cars imported into Vietnam increased remarkably with 100% up in 2016 compared to that of 2015.
