GENTERA ANNOUNCES THE DECISION MADE BY FITCH RATINGS
Mexico City, December 15, 2016 - GENTERA, S.A.B. de C.V., ("GENTERA") (BMV:
GENTERA*) informs that Banco Compartamos S.A. I.B.M., the main subsidiary of GENTERA, was notified by the rating agency FITCH Ratings (FITCH), the change in the Outlook for the long-term rating on the Global Scale, from Stable to Negative.
FITCH took the following actions:
Long-Term foreign and local currency IDRs affirmed at 'BBB'
Outlook revised to Negative from Stable.
Affirmed the Viability Rating (VR) at 'bbb'
Affirmed the short-term foreign and local currency (IDR) at 'F2'
Support Rating (SR) affirmed at '5'
FITCH does not expect changes in the National Ratings for Banco Compartamos (Including local debt issuances).
