GENTING MALAYSIA The Group is excited that for the first time, Resorts World Birmingham will bring the uniqueness and excitement of a large scale integrated resort offer to the West Midlands region and beyond. Resorts World Birmingham will offer a full programme of exciting events between its opening day and the end of the year which will demonstrate a wide range of experiences available to its guests.
The first day of opening will see a whole host of retailers opening their doors. They include Next Outlet, Nike Factory Store and GAP Outlet, as well as a diverse range of other exciting high street names in fashion, home wares and gifts. Over the coming weeks, Resorts World Birmingham will gather momentum as more and more of the resort's outlet shops, bars restaurants and other facilities welcome guests.
Cineworld, one of Europe's leading cinema groups, will be part of the Resorts World Birmingham offer with an eleven screen complex that includes a purpose built IMAX auditorium. Cineworld will be opening on 23 October 2015, in time for the most eagerly awaited release of the year, the new Bond movie Spectre. Resorts World Birmingham will also play host to the Genting International Casino which will open to celebrate the launch of the James Bond movie on 26 October 2015 and the state- of-the-art conference and banqueting facility.
Guests looking to stay overnight will be able to enjoy the four-star 180-room Genting Hotel from 2 November 2015 - the first to open in Europe - and relax in the medi-spa that includes a wide range of innovative treatments.
Resorts World Birmingham will also offer 18 bars and restaurants including favourites such as TGI Friday's and Pizza Express and new offers such as the Robata Bar and Grill specialising in Pan Asian cuisine, the New York influenced High Line Bar and Lounge and the World Bar which is located right opposite the Genting Arena, the second largest concert arena in the UK.
