ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Dec. 17, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ:GEVO), announced an update on the certification process related to its alcohol to jet product.

A meeting of the ASTM D02.J6 subcommittee was held on December 9, 2015, to discuss the revision of ASTM D7566 to include alcohol to jet synthetic paraffinic kerosene (ATJ-SPK).  The data is being revised based on the feedback from the ATJ-SPK Taskforce.  A motion was passed to concurrently ballot the revised ATJ-SPK specification, both at the subcommittee and main committee level, which is planned for January 2016.

Minutes from the ASTM D02.J6 meeting held on December 9, 2015, are expected to be released in the next 30 to 60 days.
