Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) has decided to introduce the new sector classification of listed Issuers. One of the phases in this process are public consultations. WSE invites all market participants (issuers, shareholders and investors) to take part in this process.

Current sectoral classification
Currently, WSE sectoral classification covers companies listed on regulated and NewConnect markets. There are two independent rules for both markets.

In case of the regulated market companies are classified to one of three macrosectors (industry, finance or services), and then to the sectors belonging to each macrosector.
