Players from all over the world has joined GIGABYTE StarCraft® II Cup Season 2 from September to December in 2011. Thanks for all the gamers who participated the tournaments. GIGABYTE did a huge progress on holding a brand-owned eSportin 2011 and is excited to congratulate all the winners!!

In September 2011, the second season of GIGABYTE StarCraft® IICupkicked off! After thirteen consecutive weeks, more than 3,500 active participants competed in the tournaments for 150€ prize money and tried to gather ranking points each Monday in order to qualify for the GIGABYTE Season 2 Final. Only the top 16 players, including superstars like "Nerchio", "Grubby" or "Polt", were invited to take part in the final showdown. "Nerchio"managed to defeat "Kas"in the final by winning three maps out of five. The Finnish powerhouse "Satiini"came in third place. Several live broadcasts in five different languages made it possible for the fans to follow the nerve-wrecking duels throughout the season.
