A revamped format to celebrate the fair's 10th anniversary.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the theme of this year's Denim Première Vision will be 'R-Evolution', in order to highlight the challenges of today's market while supporting the industry and brands in designing the denim products of the future.

This year's fair will focus on technology and digital tools for creative design and also address the challenges facing the denim sector, with an extended programme reflecting every issue in the international market.

On entering the Denim Première Vision fair, visitors are immediately plunged into an immersive, interactive area devoted to the 2018/2019 autumn-winter season. The area is filled with original exhibitor stands showcasing new products, innovations and technologies, particularly focused on eco-friendly developments.
The 'Technical innovation area' highlights the latest design technologies. The projects showcased include a waterproof jacket in recycled denim with integrated solar panels that enable the person wearing the jacket to recharge their mobile devices (designed by Solaar Windbraker, Holland) as well as jeans with an integrated GPS system (by Spinali Design, France).

Innovation will be ever-present at the fair. As such, visitors will be able to attend the first Denim Première Vision Hackathon. Five teams of 5 students from some of Europe's most reputed fashion and technology schools will be competing against each other to design the denim of the future.

In addition, Denim Première Vision - in conjunction with Sportswear International - , will be launching a series of master classes addressing future developments in the industry, with various topics on the programme, including eco-friendly design and production and establishing an innovation strategy.

Finally, the 'Denim trends area' will group together denim fashion concepts for the 2018/2019 autumn-winter season, based on 4 themes 'Bold', 'Recode' Beyond'and' Rainfall'. The area will resemble a modern-art museum incorporating concepts of merchandising and 'phygital' (digitisation of shops, bridging the gap between online and the offline customer experiences).
