Three days in paradise for foodies.

The Gourmet Food Festival is the result of a partnership between GL events and Gambero Rosso, a leading international food brand. The inaugural festival will take place at the Lingotto Fiere in Turin (Italy) from 17 to 19 November.

And what better place than Turin to hold this first event, since the city is renowned as a major centre for innovation and new trends in the food industry.

The central exhibition area devoted to food culture will form the heart of the event, which is divided into four main themes: 'cooking products' (meats, cheeses, fish, vegetables, oils, etc.), 'the sweet corner' (pastry, ice cream, chocolate, coffee, tea and herbal teas), 'bread and pizza' and finally 'beverages'(wine, beer, cocktail mixing techniques).

The Gourmet Food Festival is above all a place for meeting and sharing ideas with traditional chefs, pastry chefs, pizza chefs, chocolate makers, bakers, farmers, wine-waiters, etc. Indeed, several celebrities will be at the show, such as the chef Carlo Cracco, Gino Sorbillo (the best the best pizza chef in Naples), Iginio Massari (master pastry chef), and Massimo d'Addezio and Igles Corelli who feature on Gambero Rosso TV.

The programme of events and conferences caters for every taste, with topics such as 'Chocolate, the revenge of milk', 'The secrets of pasta? Flour, eggs and patience...' 'Learn how to cook fish with the chef Gianfranco Pascucci'.

Visitors will have the opportunity to take cooking, pastry-making and baking classes in a real professional kitchen. There are also 'guided tasting sessions' during which visitors can appreciate various craft products and pre-cooked dishes. Naturally, the stands will also be selling the many regional products on show, so people can take a taste of the Gourmet Food Festival home.
