This year's exhibition focuses on international business and innovation.

The 14th SOLUTRANS, the international exhibition devoted to road and city transport, will be held from 21 to 25 November at Eurexpo. The exhibition is organised by the FFC (French Federation for industrial vehicles) and sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Nearly 900 exhibitors and approximately 36,000 visitors are expected this year. All the companies involved in sector will be at the event: manufacturers of industrial vehicles, vans, semi-trailers and trailers, bodywork specialists, equipment manufacturers, tyre makers, etc. This is what makes Solutrans such a unique exhibition in France.

SOLUTRANS is increasingly oriented towards international business and is extending its network by creating 11 new offices in Algeria, Germany, China, Spain, Italy, Morocco, Poland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Tunisia and Turkey. The exhibition will include a 'Sweden Day' on 22 November 22. During this special day, an official Swedish delegation will visit the fair and participate in a conference on autonomous vehicles.

Innovation will be an omnipresent theme at the fair, which will host the award ceremony for the International Truck of the Year, International Van of the year, and Pick-up award). SOLUTRANS also has its own Innovation Awards and will be organising the 2017 Personality of the Sector award (in the field of industrial and urban vehicles). For the first time in its history, the exhibition will be hosting a Start-up Village, in partnership with the LUTB Transport & Mobility Systems and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, with several young companies presenting innovative products and services.

To meet the expectations and challenges of the whole sector, six key themes will be addressed during the 5 days: the factory of the future, new engines and energies, connected vehicles and roads, deliveries in city centres, training and cybersecurity. Several conferences and events will be devoted to these topics at the fair.

The programme also includes a special event devoted to 'Truck drivers' during which drivers can visit an exhibition of vehicles and take part in workshops, discussions and competitions.
