(Stock Code: 00809) MAJOR TRANSACTION DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR IN RELATION TO THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO A SUPPLIERAs additional time is required for the inclusion of further information in the Circular, it is expected that the Circular will be despatched on or before 15 September 2016.
Reference is made to the joint announcement (the "Announcement") of Global Bio-chem Technology Group Company Limited (the "Company") and Global Sweeteners Holdings Limited dated 8 August 2016. Unless the context otherwise requires, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.
As stated in the Announcement, a circular (the "Circular") containing, among others, further details of the New Supplier Guarantees, together with a notice convening the extraordinary general meeting of the Company, will be despatched to the shareholders of the Company on or before 29 August 2016.
As additional time is required for the inclusion of further information in the Circular, it is expected that the Circular will be despatched on or before 15 September 2016.
