Global Investment House announced today that the Global 10 Large Cap Index Fund has retained its Silver fund management rating from Standard & Poor's Capital IQ Fund Research. The S&P fund rating is a widely acknowledged measure of excellence, with Silver rating awarded only when the fund demonstrates high standards of quality based on its investment process, risk management and consistency of performance.

Launched in November 2000 and managed by the GCC Asset Management with total AUM of USD 257 million, the Global 10 Large Cap Index Fund is one of the first and largest equity funds in the GCC. The fund aims to fully replicate the S&P 10 Large Cap Index, a price return index of the 10 largest stocks listed on Kuwait Stock Exchange by market capitalization with no free float adjustment representing more than 56% of the total market cap.

Commenting on the rating, Ammar T. Hajeyah, Vice President GCC Asset Management at Global said, "We are proud to maintain this rating for the Global 10 Large cap Index Fund, the first rated index fund in the region. The rating is a testament to our capabilities in the regional asset management industry and our ongoing commitment to our clients.
