Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN), one of the largest worldwide providers of payment solutions, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Ezi Holdings Pty Ltd (Ezidebit), a leading integrated payments company focused on recurring payments verticals in Australia and New Zealand. Similar to the company’s OpenEdge division, Ezidebit markets its products through a network of integrated software vendors and direct channels to numerous vertical markets.

Under the terms of the agreement, Global Payments paid a purchase price of AU$305 million (approximately US$268 million), funded by a combination of cash on hand and borrowings on the company’s revolving credit facility.
