Subject: Clarification to the news with regard to an allegation of "illegal power supply"

Reference is made to the request of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) for Glow Energy Plc. (GLOW) to provide clarification on the news with regard to an allegation of "illegal power supply".

GLOW would like to clarify that there are no grounds to the claim that we have illegally supplied electricity and that Glow has no material developments in addition to the required disclosure included in the 56-1 report for the year 2017.

GLOW understand that the allegation would relate to one of our Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) i.e. the PPA of GLOW Phase 2 Project 1 (the "Project").

We continue to sell electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) from the Project in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Project is one of the 25 SPPs listed in the document submitted to and approved by the National Energy Policy Council (NEPC) on 30 May 2016. What is true is that a difference in interpretation has arisen between EGAT and GLOW with respect to the end date of i.e. the PPA of the Project. In accordance with the relevant provisions under the relevant PPA, this difference in opinion is now under arbitration proceedings and we will fully respect any outcome of such process, in the same way as we always comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We are considering to take legal actions against the relevant media and/or people involved in respect of this distortion of the matter published.
