During his working visit to Norilsk Sergey Dyachenko, First Deputy-CEO, Operating Director of MMC Norilsk Nickel outlined the main goals for the Company in the upcoming year.

"The 2015 production program is ready. It must be approved by the Board of Directors. The program budget is now going through drafting and approval. The ore mining and processing program is fairly intense. In the coming year Norilsk Nickel is going to move away from imported raw materials with complete displacement reached in Q4, 2015," said Mr. Dyachenko.

The coming year will be a period of intensified capital construction. "By late December we're hoping to commission the first phase of the Talnakh Concentrator Plant. We've made a good job of it, everything appears splendid and deserves praise. Over the next year construction at the site will proceed intensively. The second startup phase has to be completed in 2015, and in Q1, 2016 subsequent to commissioning the upgraded Talnakh Plant with an up to 10 million tpa ore capacity will be operational," said Sergey Dyachenko.

As for the current operations of the Company's Polar Division Sergey Dyachenko underscored the confidence of section managers in reaching the annual production targets. "We had to overcome certain issues in the beginning of Q4. The majority of those have, hopefully, been solved by our teams and we'll finish 2014 with a scheduled performance," said Sergey Dyachenko.
