In honor of the 80th anniversary of MMC Norilsk Nickel, VTB United League match between CSKA Moscow and BC Khimki was declared a Jubilee match. The meeting will include a pre-match colorful 3D-show and presentation of a new dance by CSKA cheerleading squad. In the foyer of the sports arena there will be installed an interactive activation for the fans, sports fans will find numerous surprises and gifts.

Shortly before the start of the Jubilee match at 19:00, the museum of the company and CSKA will open its doors in the foyer of tribune A. The museum shall represent trophies of the team, unique artifacts, documents and photographs. Visitors to the museum will be able to learn a lot of interesting historical facts about Norilsk Nickel and CSKA.

Elena Bezdenezhnykh, Vice President of MMC Norilsk Nickel:

'For us it is very important to participate in such a project as the creation of the Museum of CSKA and Norilsk Nickel. Fans of the team can be proud of the history of the club, perhaps the richest in events in Europe. We are pleased that we were able to contribute to the history of the team, which unfortunately lacked its own museum before. Creating the exposition, we aimed to show the historical link between the club and our company, to demonstrate shared values and a striving to win despite anything. Also, we are very pleased to be able to celebrate the 80th anniversary of our company with the team and the fans of CSKA by a contest with one of the principal contenders, Khimki. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our anniversary celebration!'

Sergey Tarakanov, Chairman of the Board of Veterans of CSKA:

'The opening of the Museum of CSKA is an important and a long-awaited event in the history of our club. The painstaking work to create the museum was carried out throughout the year. We had a long discussion where to open a museum. As a result, it was decided in principle to open a museum in the renovated hall of Sergey Belov tribune. It is notable that there are no basketball museums in Moscow. CSKA was the first even here, for which I am grateful to the management of the club and Norilsk Nickel. Any veteran is pleased when his work is remarked somehow. What do CSKA and Norilsk Nickel do for veterans, is unique for Russian basketball. Without the support of the club's owner nothing would have happened. Me and all the veterans that are sure to come to the museum opening ceremony, are grateful for the attention, respect and honor they are given'.
