Go-Ahead has achieved the Fair Tax Mark for the fourth year in a row. An accreditation given to companies paying the right amount of corporation tax, supported by transparent tax reporting, the award shows Go-Ahead's commitment to conducting business sustainably.

Group CFO, Patrick Butcher said: 'Retaining this award for the fourth year demonstrates our commitment to operating in a sustainable and ethical manner and paying our fair share of tax which can be re-invested in the communities we serve.

'One of Go-Ahead's beliefs is about trusting people, and we think trust goes both ways and has to be earned.

I hope our customers, colleagues and stakeholders view this achievement as a sign that Go-Ahead can be trusted to work fairly for a better society.'

The Fair Tax Mark is an independent accreditation process that enables companies to make a public declaration regarding their corporation tax position. The Fair Tax Mark empowers consumers who want to identify organisations that are taking a responsible approach to tax and making a fair contribution to society.
