Canada International Reserves Down $234 Million in Week Ended Feb 8

Canada's official international reserves fell $234 million in the week ended Feb. 8, the Bank of Canada reported on its website.
At Feb. 8, the official international reserves totaled $68.656 billion, compared with $68.890 billion at Jan. 31.
The reserves included:
-U.S. dollars, $35.838 billion;
-other foreign currencies, $19.438 billion;
-gold, $180 million;
-special drawing rights, $8.732 billion;
-reserve position in the International Monetary Fund, $4.468 billion.
All reserve figures are reported in U.S. funds.
