Canada International Reserves Up $276 Million in Week Ended Feb 15

Canada's official international reserves rose $276 million in the week ended Feb. 15, the Bank of Canada reported on its website.

At Feb. 15, the official international reserves totaled $68.932 billion, compared with $68.656 billion at Feb. 8.

The reserves included:

-U.S. dollars, $36.219 billion;

-other foreign currencies, $19.411 billion;

-gold, $174 million;

-special drawing rights, $8.695 billion;

-reserve position in the International Monetary Fund, $4.433 billion.

All reserve figures are reported in U.S. funds.
