The Board of Directors ("Board") of Golden AgriResources Ltd ("GAR" or the "Company") wishes to announce the following changes to the Board and Board Committees:
The retirement of Mr Jacques Desire Laval Elliah, NonExecutive Independent Director, at the conclusion of the forthcoming annual meeting of the Company convened on 25 April 2017 ("2017 AM"), as Mr Elliah is not seeking reelection as a Director at the 2017 AM.
The retirement of Mr Hong Pian Tee, NonExecutive Independent Director, at the conclusion of the 2017 AM, as Mr Hong is not seeking reappointment as a Director at the 2017 AM. Accordingly, he shall also cease to hold all appointments presently held by him in all Board Committees at the conclusion of the 2017 AM.
The Board accepts the above decisions of Mr Hong, who has served for over 15 years, and Mr Elliah, who has served for over 6 years, as Directors of the Company, and wishes to thank each of them for their dedicated service to the Company. The Company is currently processing the appointment of new Directors.
Details on the above retirement of Directors as required under Rule 704(7) of the SGXST Listing Manual are set out in separate announcements released today.
