BC Partners has received first-round offers for SGB Starkstrom, a maker of power transformers, including a bid from State Grid Corp. of China, Reuters reported, citing sources.
The private equity firm is seeking up to EUR1 billion for the Germany-based company, and has hired Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (>> Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.) to manage the sale, the sources told Reuters.
