Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, a chef-driven, full-service restaurant that uses a mix of local and artisanal ingredients to create the most delicious, flavorful and downright baddest burgers around, is celebrating all that the summer has to offer with brand new August specials.

The gourmet burger chain will be offering new menu items featuring peaches and sweet corn such as a Sweet Corn Grilled Cheese and a Peach Cobbler Milkshake. In all Colorado locations, the featured peaches will be Palisade to celebrate the popular local fruit during National Peach Month. The goat cheese included on the specials will also be specific to the region featuring Haystack Mountain in Colorado and Goat Lady Goat Cheese in the Carolina locations.

All new menu items were created by Executive Chef Tim Kast, who believes strongly in locally sourcing ingredients for menu items specific to their region. The special menu items include:

  • James and the palisade peach/peach burger: Burger topped with spicy (Palisade, in Colorado locations) peach relish and (Haystack Mountain, in Colorado - Goat Lady Dairy, in Carolinas) goat cheese.
  • Sweet corn Grilled Cheese: Classic grilled cheese with a twist, fire-roasted (Olathe, in Colorado locations) sweet corn, creamy cheddar mornay sauce, fresh tomato and basil, all between buttery grilled sourdough bread. Served with a side of our housemade tomato bisque.
  • Farmer’s Fire-Roasted corn Salad: Fire-roasted (Olathe, in Colorado locations) sweet corn meets avocado, cherry tomatoes, arugula, and blackened chicken under a cumin-lime vinaigrette.
  • Shake of the month: (Palisade, in Colorado locations) peach cobbler

“By far, my favorite thing about getting to create the new menu items at Bad Daddy’s is getting to locally source ingredients at each location,” says Kast. “The local ingredients help to create a different feel at each location – you know that if you go to a Bad Daddy’s in one of the Carolinas that it’s going to be a different experience than if you had visited in Colorado – in the best way possible.”

Bad Daddy’s culinary differentiators include burgers made from top-quality beef topped with house made cheese and scratch made sauces with customizable options. Reviews rave of unique burger toppings such as buttermilk country-fried bacon, house-made American cheese, scratch made pesto and the specialty Bad Daddy’s sauce. The restaurant also offers customizable salads, a full gluten-free menu and regional menu items that incorporate local flavors. High-energy rocker music, local beers showcased across the bar and décor distinct to the neighborhood adds to a unique brand personality.

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar was recently purchased by Good Times Restaurants, Inc. (NASDAQ:GTIM), which also operates Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard, a regional chain of quick service restaurants located primarily in Colorado.
