Gran Tierra Energy : Announces Final Voting Results of Its Annual Meeting of Stockholders

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Jun 24, 2016) - Gran Tierra Energy Inc. ("Gran Tierra" or the "Company") (NYSE MKT:GTE)(TSX:GTE) today announces the voting results from its annual meeting of stockholders held on June 23, 2016.
Stockholders elected all seven individuals nominated by Gran Tierra. In addition, stockholders voted "FOR" the approval, on an advisory basis, of the compensation of Gran Tierra's named executive officers, "FOR" the ratification of the appointment of Deloitte LLP as Gran Tierra's independent registered public accounting firm for 2016 and "FOR" the proposal to approve a change in the Company's state of incorporation from the State of Nevada to the State of Delaware, pursuant to a plan of conversion.
