Reference is made to the clarification announcement of Great Wall Motor Company Limited (the "Company") dated 7 November 2016 (the "Clarification Announcement") in relation to the launch of a new high-end brand.

In accordance with its development strategies, the Company intends to launch a new high-end brand under the name of "WEY" on 16 November 2016.

Further information about the models and launching schedule of the models under the brand "WEY" will be disclosed by way of announcement when such information is finalized.

The shareholders of the Company and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the securities of the Company.
