Wind

  • In March 2015, the total wind production was 30% above estimates and 32% higher than in March 2014.
  • In particular, due to extraordinary favourable wind conditions, the Italian and Spanish wind farms performed significantly above budget: by 41% and 37% respectively. Furthermore, production in Italy was 47% higher than the same period of last year. On the other hand, production in Poland and Denmark was lower than expected due to low wind speed while production in Germany was in line with estimates but 31% higher compared to March 2014.
  • Year-to-date figures are considerably higher than expected (+18%) and fairly above those from March 2014 (+ 7%).

Solar

  • In March 2015, the total solar production was in line with estimates.
  • In particular, the average irradiation was higher than expected in Spain, raising the solar production by +14% compared to estimates. In Italy, the solar production was slightly lower than expected (-7%) due to a lower average irradiation.
  • Net solar production year-to-date was slightly higher than budget (+5%) and in line with the same period last year (+2%).
