January 2013, GRGBanking ATM portfolio was certified to support German electronic purse "GeldKarte" in Germany. The certificate is issued by the German Banking Industry Committee, which certified the same ATM Portfolio of GRGBanking in 2011 to support cash withdrawal with Girocard and other bank cards based on the German regulations and standards.

The ATM portfolio of GRGBanking includes the model of H22N, H22NL, H38N, H38NL, H38N-XDM, H38NL-XDM, H38HD, H46N, H68N, H68NL, E800L and E300L. The full range of products is also compliant with the industrial standards like PCI, EMV, UL, FCC, CE, CB, C-TICK and RoHS.

About GeldKarte

GeldKarte (literally means "money card" in German) is the German chip-based electronic purse system which is jointly maintained by the German banking industry. Over 89 million girocards (formerly: ec cards) or banking cards carry the chip already. It can be topped-up with electronic money up to 200 Euros.

GeldKarte is mostly used for small purchases which have, up to now, required small change. Among other sectors it is accepted in public transport, at parking garages, public telephones, and vending machines. A total of approximately 600.000 acceptance points is available to GeldKarte users on a nationwide basis.
