Vacancies were filled and the chair was appointed at the meeting of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry held on Friday, September 9th 2016.
Mariusz Bober, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., was elected Chair of the Council, and Zbigniew Gagat, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A., was appointed to serve as Deputy Chair.
These appointments were made to fill vacancies on the Council's Presidium (the Presidium is now composed of representatives of five members of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry). In addition to the new members, the Presidium also includes other Vice-Presidents of the Council: Piotr Chełmiński, Vice-President of PKN Orlen S.A., Ewa Anna Wołynkiewicz of Brenntag Polska Sp. z o.o., and Zbigniew Warmuz, Vice-President of Synthos S.A.
In addition to the appointment of the Chair and Deputy Chair, vacancies on the Council were also filled at the meeting. The following persons were appointed to the Council: Mateusz Gramza, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Kędzierzyn S.A.; Mateusz Aleksander Bonca, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa Lotos S.A.; Maciej Kropidłowski, Director at PKN Orlen S.A.; Tomasz Laudy, President of the Management Board of Qumak S.A.
The activities of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry are managed by a one-person Board, with Tomasz Zieliński, EngD, as President.
