SANJOSE Portugal will restore Lisbon's Santa Helena Palace and adapt it for its new residential purpose

Meteoric Level has awarded SANJOSE Constructora Portugal the rehabilitation works for residential use of the Palacio Santa Helena in Lisbon.

Works include partial demolitions in the palace (preserving the integrity of existing structural elements) and integral demolitions of other existing buildings. It also contemplates the execution of peripheral containment for implantation of 2 basements for parking lots.

Structural reinforcements (of existing slabs in wood) with metal beams shall be executed in the Palace and some existing elements shall be replaced. The cover shall be executed by means of metal structure and finished with sandwich panel and tile.

The structures of the other buildings will be of reinforced concrete.

Upon completion of the works, the Palace of St. Helena shall house 21 residences arranged into its 5 floors (and an intermediate one between the floor 0 and the floor 1).
