SANJOSE will perform unscheduled actions and immediate actions in matters of trees and green areas (SER + VERDE) in the municipality of Madrid

The City Council of Madrid has awarded the JV formed by SANJOSE Constructora, El Ejidillo Viveros Integrales, Valoriza, Tecnigral and Dasotec the SER + VERDE service in the capital city of Spain for the next 4 years.

SER + VERDE aims to solve exceptional situations related to trees that pose a very high risk of generating damage or that have directly produced it and therefore require immediate attention.

The main tasks within the scope of this contract are:

- To develop a system of systematic, orderly and continuous inspections of the trees, in order to control the existing risk tree by tree.

- To unify woodland evaluation criteria and methodologies.

- To have the most modern woodland evaluation techniques and the latest technology in woodland risk detection.

- To carry out the necessary actions (pruning, felling or other) that reduce the imminent risk of trees to acceptable levels.

All these actions will be a consequence of the proposed inspection system.

- To act in those aspects that may pose a risk to citizens for reasons of urgency and imminent risk and that have not been addressed by the Fire Department. These incidents must be attended at any time, twenty-four hours a day, all days of the year, weekends and holidays included.

- The statistical monitoring of the incidents caused by trees, in order to collect historical information to improve knowledge of the real case of tree accidents.

- To work on communication and disclosure to the public
