Grupo Famsa de CV : announces the termination of the market maker service contract with casa de bolsa Credit Suisse (Mexico)

Monterrey, N.L., Mexico, January 20, 2017. Grupo Famsa, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: GFAMSA), a leading Mexican commercial conglomerate in the retail, consumer credit and savings sectors, announced today the termination of the "Market-Maker" service contract with Casa de Bolsa Credit Suisse (Mexico), S.A. de C.V., Grupo Financiero Credit Suisse (Mexico). In light of the aforementioned, Grupo Famsa would like to extend its most sincere gratitude and appreciation to Casa de Bolsa Credit Suisse (Mexico) for its support in the endeavors to spur its stock (GFAMSA) trading in the financial markets.

Grupo Famsa is currently performing a thorough evaluation process of another financial institution able to provide it the "Market-Maker" service, aiming to boost its stock liquidity in the Mexican secondary market.
