On April 9th, at the 2018 China Cooling Exhibition, Chinese brand Haier debuted the air-cooling heat pump magnetic levitation (magnetic) central air-conditioner, which abandoned the traditional air-conditioning methods using screw and vortex, and got upgraded to become internet-connected on the IoT platform, making it the industry's only smart energy-saving solution for connection and interoperation. According to the "2017 China Central Air Conditioning Market Report", Haier magnetic central air-conditioner ranked first with an 80% market share in 2017, and has maintained its No.1 position in the industry for 12 consecutive years.

As far back as 2006, Haier launched China's first magnetic central air-conditioner and successfully applied it in Shenzhen China Merchants Real Estate Project. It has been operating stably for over a decade and the overall scheme has saved over 40% energy consumption compared with that of similar buildings. Haier found more than 30 domestic and foreign companies that had followed at the 2017 Cooling Exhibition.

At present, magnetic central air-conditioning has been widely used in cooling systems, but the energy consumption of heating is far greater than that of cooling, and the technology is more complicated. Haier's air-cooling magnetic air-conditioner has a maximum water temperature of 65°C, the same as the high-temperature water heating unit. It utilizes patented technologies like magnetic oil-free operation to achieve an overall 30% higher performance than traditional ones, likely to fully revolutionize this conventional industry.

Moreover, Haier’s central air-conditioner has integrated innovative technologies such as the E+ cloud service big data platform and other IoT technologies to analyze user needs and habits, and achieve energy conservation and self-control throughout the product lifecycle. Currently, it is open and shared to global manufacturers. In Europe, Haier central air-conditioning is the leader among independent Chinese brands; in less than 1 year after its entered Southeast Asia in 2017, it has successfully signed over 30 projects, showing a spectacular growth.

As the leading supplier of IoT central air conditioning, Haier has seized the opportunity of IoT to create value for users, and will eventually transform the industry and accelerate the revolution of global green construction.
