JSC Halyk Bank continues active financing of SMEs through joint implementation of the lending programs together with the Government. The loan portfolio of private businesses, who are our clients in the current government programs, exceeds 188 billion tenge.

In particular, as of 20 April 2015, JSC Halyk Bank takes the leading positions among the other second-tier banks participating in the Program "Business Road Map-2020" in terms of the loan portfolio and number of borrowers, whose participation in the Program is approved.

The loan portfolio of Halyk Bank borrowers totals 159.30 billion tenge, which share in the total loan portfolio of the second-tier banks participating in the Program "BRM-2020" is 14.62%, thus bringing the second place in the program to our Bank. Out of 5,170 projects funded under the Program, 738 projects or 14.27% fall on the customers of our Bank, and this indicator brings the Bank on the top of the list under the Program. The signed guarantee agreements for the Bank guaranteed projects account for 176 (21.86%) out of 805 approved applications of the Fund, and the amount of the Fund's guarantee for JSC Halyk Bank amounts to 2.97 billion tenge, making 15.87% of the total amount of guarantees for all the clients of the second-tier banks. The Bank has a strong second position in each of these indicators, individually and wholly, at the Program level.

Along with the Program "Business Road Map-2020", the Bank is involved in a number of other business lending programs together with JSC Entrepreneurship Development Fund "Damu." Amid "Damu-Ondiris", a program operating since 2009, the Bank has financed 21 projects totaling over KZT3.65 billion.

JSC Halyk Bank has disbursed the amounts allocated under the Government Program for lending to small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in the manufacturing industry in due time and to the full extent. Taking into account the secondary lending, as part of 1st tranche, JSC Halyk Bank has financed 118 projects worth 21.16 billion tenge. JSC Halyk Bank is included in the top three banks in terms of allocations and disbursements under the Program. Within 2nd tranche, 26 projects amounting to 6 billion tenge were approved, and more than 3.2 billion tenge for 16 projects were disbursed. Within 3rd tranche, 18 projects amounting to 1.5 billion tenge were approved, and the amount of 25 million tenge for 2 projects was disbursed.

As part of the Program for conditional placement of funds in STB and other financial institutions for private business on-lending in Zhanaozen town, the Bank has financed eight projects totaling 292,257,069 tenge.

It is also worth noting that in March 2014 the Bank signed an agreement on conditional placement of funds in the amount of 800 million tenge for women's business on-lending. The target group of this program includes women registered as a sole proprietor or a legal entity. The Bank has successfully disbursed the funds allocated under the program. As of 24 April 2015, the Bank financed 69 projects totaling more than 839 million tenge.
