Halyk Bank AO : To subsidiary life insurance company of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan “Halyk-Life” JSC has confirmed the highest international rating among the Kazakhstani life insurance companies

The international rating agency - A.M. Best Europe - Rating Services Limited has confirmed a rating of B+ financial stability and a credit rating of the Issuer 'bbb -' Halyk-Life JSC which is the highest among the life insurance companies in Kazakhstan.

'We are satisfied that our efforts aimed at further market development of life insurance several years in a row are confirmed by an authoritative assessment of the international rating agency A.M. Best Europe - Rating Services Limited. It once again shows confident positions of 'Halyk-Life' JSC at the Kazakhstani market, - has noted Yerlan Kambetbayev, the Chairman of the Company.

According to data of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, as of 01.05.2016 'Halyk-Life' JSC is included into group of leaders in collection of insurance premiums in the life insurance market. At the same time the amount of insurance premiums has exceeded 4,87 billion tenge - it is 24% of the total amount of premium collection among all life insurance companies in Kazakhstan.

'Halyk-Life' JSC takes the 1st place in collection of insurance premiums in a class of annuity insurance - under agreements of retirement annuity.

As of 01.05.2016 the size of assets of 'Halyk-Life' JSC is 36 billion 419 million tenge, the own equity has exceeded 6,5 billion tenge. Insurance reserves of the Company are 27,528 billion tenge. The size of the authorized capital - 3,06 billion tenge.
