The Hamburger Container- und Chassis-Reparatur-Gesellschaft (HCCR) receives the prestigious Top Performer Award from Carrier, one of the leading manufacturers of air conditioning units in the world. HCCR has thus come out on top, beating more than 100 service centres in Europe alone.

Dr. Georg Böttner , Managing Director of HCCR, on the award: "We are very proud to receive the award of best reefer depot in the regions of Europe, the Middle East and Asia. We consider the prize to be confirmation of our work as well as an incentive to continue raising our high professional standards. I am especially pleased that the award recognises the enormous contribution of all HCCR employees."
Included among the criteria for the Carrier Top Performer Award are the quality of the depot work and the adherence to occupational health and safety, environmental and other standards. The quality of staff training sessions, the cooperation with the manufacturer and the availability of spare parts are also evaluated. The prize was recently awarded to HCCR as part of an industry event. HCCR was already awarded the Care Max certificate by Carrier back in February.

HCCR operates around the clock at all three Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) container terminals in the Port of Hamburg. Using emergency vehicles, HCCR also operates transregional. The company employs 48 tradespeople and 11 trainees. It is the "dealer" for all four important manufacturers of such units. This means that HCCR can administer warranty work for these manufacturers and sell spare parts. HCCR services and repairs the air conditioning units on the container gantry cranes, straddle carriers, tractor units and yard cranes at all locations, as well the air conditioning units in office buildings at certain sites.
