Hammerson is a European leader in commercial real estate promotion and management. Net leasing revenues (not including sold divisions) break down by type of asset as follows:
- malls (69.5%): owned, at the end of 2012, 21 malls;
- commercial complexes (27.4%): owned 22 commercial complexes;
- other (3.1%).
At the end of 2012, the real estate portfolio, with a total area of 1.8 million m2, had a market value of EUR6,7 billion distributed among malls (68.4%) and commercial complexes (21.6%).
Geographic distribution of the portfolio by value (not including sold divisions) is as follows: the United Kingdom (74%) and France (26%).
In June 2012, the group sold the office buildings promotion and management activity.
