Reference is made to the announcement of Hanergy Thin Film Power Group Limited (the "Company") dated 30 March 2017 in relation to the results of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2016 (the "Announcement"). Unless otherwise stated, capitalised terms used herein shall bear the same meanings as defined in the Announcement.

The Board wishes to clarify that due to inadvertent typographical errors, the finance cost generated from the Manufacturing segment for the year ended 31 December 2016 as set out in Operating Segment Information under note 3 on page 8 of the Announcement should be "HK$40,974(HK$'000)", instead of "HK$31,348 (HK$'000)".
