The board of directors (the "Board") of Hang Lung Properties Limited (the "Company") announces that Professor Pak Wai LIU ("Prof. Liu"), an independent non-executive director, will retire and will not offer himself for re-election at the annual general meeting of the Company to be held on 28 April 2016 (the "AGM"). He will retire as director with effect from the conclusion of the AGM.
Prof. Liu confirms that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his retirement that needs to be brought to the attention of shareholders of the Company.
The Board would like to express its most sincere appreciation to Prof. Liu for his valuable contribution, wise counsel and guidance to the Board during his tenure. Prof. Liu will continue to serve as an independent non-executive director of Hang Lung Group Limited, the listed holding company of the Company.
