Hanger : partners with the Red Cross to support Hurricane Irma relief efforts

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 13, 2017 - Hanger, Inc. will continue supporting American Red Cross disaster relief efforts by donating $10,000 to assist those impacted by Hurricane Irma. Additionally, Hanger has committed to matching up to another $10,000 donated via its Red Cross microsite through Oct. 31. Similar fundraising efforts following Hurricane Harvey resulted in more than $31,700 donated by Hanger and members of the community who used the microsite.

'In the last several days, our Hanger family once again witnessed the devastating impact of another catastrophic hurricane,' said Hanger President & CEO Vinit Asar. 'Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by Hurricane Irma, including many of our patients and team members. As with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, we are committed to helping rebuild after Irma, and we are proud to partner with the Red Cross in pursuit of that goal.
