HANWA : Our Actions to the News Release from Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare(MHLW)

On July 23, 2014, MHLW issued the News Release that load of imported frozen capelin with roe (produced by Vietnamese company, Rich Beauty Food Co., Ltd.) was contaminated with foreign materials suspected as sewage and rodenticides.

Since we import different products from the company concerned, we follow the requests and orders by authorities including MHLW and regional public health departments to take immediate measures to announce our findings to our customers and to carry out physical inspection to all loads.
There is no report of incidents as of today. We will immediately disclose new development accordingly, if any.
