HANWA : Notice Concerning Subscription for Capital Increase of SMC Trading Investment Joint Stock Company

Hanwa Co., Ltd.(henceforward 'Hanwa') has tried to build a strategic partnership and expand steel sales in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam since 2012, by acquiring a 5% share of a major steel distributor, SMC Trading Investment Joint Stock Company (Headquarters : Ho Chi Minh City; henceforward 'SMC'). We hereby announce that Hanwa has subscribed for a capital increase of SMC and, as a result, holds a 20% of the total number of shares outstanding of SMC including the shares Hanwa already held.
Hanwa will continuously dedicate to business expansion in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as well as strengthening further relationship with SMC and contributing to its development, through promotion of overall steel products, procurement of petrochemical raw materials and technical cooperation.
