HONOLULU - February 18, 2015 - Hawaiian Airlines has announced the appointment of Mark Stanfield Packard to the position of senior director - treasury. He will be responsible for managing Hawaiian Airlines' relationships with lessors, lenders and other financing partners, while overseeing other financial risk management matters. Packard will also play a key role in fleet planning and transaction activities.

"Mark brings a strong skill set in capital markets and various treasury functions that further strengthens our capabilities in finance, as our business expands and as we continue adding new services for our customers," said Kevin Halloran, Hawaiian Airlines vice president - treasury and treasurer.

Packard has more than 15 years of treasury and finance experience in the aviation, transportation and banking industries. Prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines, he served as head of transportation risk management - Americas at Siemens Financial Services, Inc. where he directed a team of underwriters and portfolio managers in the analysis and risk-approval of financings of commercial aircraft, rolling stock, marine vessels and other transportation assets. Previously, he served as director - capital markets at Virgin America, managing the airline's aircraft and engine financings, and also as a registered consultant with Horizon Aviation Consultants of London. Packard also held a number of senior officer positions at Citigroup in New York and London in the aircraft leasing, capital markets, portfolio management, asset finance, and risk and credit approval divisions.

Packard holds a Bachelor's degree in Japanese language and history, and also a Master of International Affairs degree in international finance and banking, both from Columbia University in New York City. He currently serves as a member of the board of trustees for Airlink, a 501 (c)(3) humanitarian initiative launched by the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading connecting commercial airlines with humanitarian aid organizations.
