HONOLULU - Hawaiian Airlines has promoted Linda Srabian to managing director - Honolulu hub. In this newly created position, Srabian will lead and direct all airport customer service operations at Hawaiian Airlines' largest station in Honolulu, and will be developing long-term plans both on behalf of the airline as well as for all airport expansion projects.

"Linda has a strong focus on operational excellence, which is evident in her successful management of our domestic stations at our 11 U.S. gateways," said Louis Saint-Cyr, Hawaiian Airlines vice president - customer service. "In her new role, she will use her exceptional employee engagement skills to help us safeguard our passion for excellence and our customers at our largest and busiest station in Honolulu."

Srabian has 30 years of experience working in airline operations. She joined Hawaiian Airlines in 2008 as director - Airbus integration to lead the introduction of the Airbus A330-200 aircraft into the airline's fleet. She was then promoted to senior director - North America where she was key in improving regional departure performance for the airline. Prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines, she held a number of leadership and management positions at other carriers including United Airlines, US Airways and Northwest Airlines.

Srabian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from San Jose State University.
